Just watched the latest episode of Uta no Oniisan. OH GOD MARU YOU ARE SO CUTE I JUST WANT TO SQUEEEEEEZE YOU!
Really, angstying in silly costumes. Oh I love Utaoni! ♥

And Ryo caused an accident. First I though it was at 3 something AM and couldn't help thinking drunken driving. But it seems that it was in the middle of the day? I hope nothing bad will come of this, but we would've allready heard something then wouldn't we?

I am dead tired, really should sleep. But I have mails to send and parents to talk to. >__< Poor me.

Also, contemplating watching korean HanaDan. Yes or No? I know that if there hadn't been any k-pop singers in there I would've watched it by now. This is just ridiculous, but I can't help it.
I've had too much of former Johnny's-fans changing to K-pop telling me that one day I will get there too, "because you will want something better, something cooler etcetc" and since I'm a fangirl who takes my fangirling far too serious I see that kind of comments as an insult and well, it has just really put me off when it comes to korean idols. Why is there so often fans that makes you not liking something? Stupid. Anyways, my hate against stupid fangirls VS my love for HanaDan. What's gonna win? I'm guessing HanaDan. But I'm quite sure, even before watching it, that it won't beat the japanese version. I mean, Oguri Shun. He is the perfect Hanazawa Rui and well yeah. Enough of my babbling.

 

School is getting more and more boring every day. X_X I really don't like our new textbooks. Oh the pains of getting into levels were they no longer have Minna no Nihongo. ^^;;

I'm gonna quit my babbling now. ^^;;;

Watched the first episode. Not overwhelmed but I liked it. ^__^ I still don't know the names of them, so I'm going with the japanese names. First, Rui is pretty! Except sometimes when you see something of a mustach on him. Domyouji looks like his reaching 30 and not like a high school student, and his perm is very ehum, lady-like, plus he seems to have borrowed the coat from jp HanaDan, the one with the fur. I'm amused by him though, and at the end of the ep you kinda started to see his cute, stupid side. The other two I haven't seen that much of yet. I like the girl. She's funny and cute. Overall, seems very promising, but not as good as some have said and certainly not as bad as other have.

I'm still craving Mei-chan. It's aired on Tuesdays! I'll make sure to hog the TV. ♥

I agree that Hanazawa Rui in Korean ver can't beat Oguri Shun, but at some points it's still deserved to watch ^^

I totally agree with this. It's like... how dare you claim anything is better than Eito? XD I don't believe it at all!! And those kinds of comments are arrogant and annoying becuase it's like putting your fangirling a level lower than theirs and... whatever. We all like our own shiny things. I can't imagine I'd ever love Kpop more than Johnnys, and comments like that have pretty much turned me off to looking into it, too. ;D

Oh, and I read this morning that Ryo is suspended from driving for 6 months (I think by the agency and not the actual law... >_>) and had to publicy apologize, but I imagine if anything else were happening we'd know about it? I hope that'll be the extent of it... even that seems really harsh for an accident! (I thought the same, too, that it was 3 am, but it sounds like he was driving in thick traffic if there was a three-car pileup. Good thing no one was seriously hurt!)

Mmm. Those fans annoy the hell out of me! >__< I mean, I have been a fangirl my whole life, I KNOW that this is different than anything before, and I will never ever trade eito for some other stupid groups, the just mean too much to me!
And what's the point of walking around telling everyone that their fandom is better than others? Everyone thinks so, I wouldn't be here if I didn't think that this is the bestest fandom, but I don't tell everyone else that they are wrong just because of that! >____< Makes me maaaad!

Maru was really adorable in UtaOnii. Clearly he should be given more opportunities to angst cutely. XD

There are some really obnoxious kpop fans out there (though there are obnoxious fans of just about everything, really). I also know some nicer ones who pimped things at me, but it never stuck since kpop is just not to my taste. It annoys me when people go on about how much more talented kpop idols are, etc, because all other issues aside, if I don't like listening to their music, it doesn't matter how talented they are. People seem to forget that there are differences in musical taste sometimes. (But I've watched a couple of kdramas without being converted to kpop, so I don't know that that's a reason not to watch any. XD)

There really are, and as a nonfan I guess that that's what you see the most, as I guess that non Johnny's-fans see the trolls more than the good people in our fandom.
But yeah, I've been listening to some random kpop-groups and they just won't get me interested. And the whole talent-thing is such a damn lie, and one more thing that makes me feel like this towards the kpop fandom. >__<
But well yeah, I'm being stubborn and stupid with the don't-want-to-watch-thingie. XDDD

I know! There are some people who are into Korean pop that seem to think it's like a 'graduation' from Johnnys and stuff. Now, I've learnt to never say never, lol, but I've seen bits and pieces of Korean stuff but, while I think some of it looks fun, I just haven't seen anything to hook me. It somehow seems even tinnier and superficial than Johnnys! Even though as we know, not all Johnnys are just skin deep, haha! ;) Kpop fandom seems like a scary place anyway... a lot of fans I see around (the ones who invade JE memes, for example, lol) seem like the mad kind. XD I'm happy with Johnnys for now! XD

Exactly! Like it's the natural next step from Johnny's to kpop and that's just not right! I'm glad that I've been in this fandom for at least quite a while now, because when people said stuff like that when I'd been a fan for six months, it's kind of difficult to argue and say that it would never happen, but now, well, what I feel for eito is just, nah, no other will be able to bring them down! ♥
They do seem a bit mad don't they? ^^;; Naah, we're good here in our rainbow eito-fandom! ♥

re: K-HYD, I wasn't like super in love with it after the first ep or anything so don't give up ;P ...I didn't start getting retardedly in love with it till quite a bit later, until then it just had that "this is good enough to be somehow addictive" hook in me, you know? But this Domyouji is seriously loveable, he made me like Domyouji more than before, he gets likeable a little bit faster... and his dorky-fail side is perfect XD (sometimes I think he gets likeable too fast but then he'll do some stupid jerk thing again so It's ok XD). but it's one of those shows where the more I watched it, every time i found myself liking it even more, so by now it's really gotten it's hooks into me badly because the shoujo plot gets more serious as it goes on, you know? The show really blossoms when the more "serious" stuff happens IMO :P Now I'm totally angsting over their relationships hahaha. There were a bunch of episodes at the beginning where I found myself thinking "ah this show is ridiculous!" but still enjoying it... but it always won me over a few minutes later and at some point even that feeling went away because I started liking it so much I was just dying for the next episode hahaha. :P I'm not sure where I started seriously loving it but I think it was after Rui and Domyouji's stupid contest, at least.

and I just find that what really makes me like it better is the interpersonal/emotional drama aspect in this version... once the episodes build up, it just has more depth to the feelings. Like, for instance, you have more reason to feel they are close and stuff by the time Domyouji leaves, I guess. Like, he hangs out with her family and does commoner stuff for a day and secretly likes it, and some things like that that don't happen in the jp version. and he seems to angst about her more seriously...

Btw Rui's acting gets better as the show goes along IMO. Him, I did not start having heart attacks over until several episodes in, though - like, I started really loving him *after* his fight with Domyouji over Makino, I guess? But after that i was totally all "uwaaah" over him somehow, LOL. But well, I do personally like korean Rui a lot better than Oguri Shun, especially after the first parts, but it's also coz I just was never a huge Oguri Shun fan (I don't dislike him or anything, I just never really fell for him), and I find HyunJoong's Rui is more... serious?? and more prince-like or something? (and I find him cuter ;P I go for girly-looking types I guess XD and he has such nice hair ;P)

Also Makino in this is just really cute :PP

Oh! and you know the thing with the Pottery F4 boy and Makino's best friend? That is totally given more air time/attention in this version than in the JP one, which IMO is really nice to see.

(I had no problem with boyband members being in it because they have nothing to do with why I started watching it ;P I just ended up liking HyunJoong and his band after wataching it =_= and I wasn't planning to be interested but I really do like HyunJoong and I think him and his band are adorable. It's really hilarious HOW completely different he is from HyunJoong, which makes me think he is a better actor than you'd expect XD But I think it's ridiculous for kpop to tear me away from JE... I can like both for different reasons; I think in general I tend to fall for bands and things because some specific member draws me into it :P )

anyway. I will shut up now XD Just... yeah. for me, "it grows on you" was very true. "it gets better as it goes along" is really the gist of everything i said there with way too many words? hahaha.

... i need to watch more Uta no Oniisan but I'm being bad and watching streaming stuff and the 3rd ep is down _o_;

Uwaa~ That's a long comment. But yeah, I will defenitely give it a chance! I liked the first episode, but I guess I'm more wary than I usually am when I'm starting to watch dramas. I think it's because I've seen both the taiwanese and japanese versions and I love them both, so there's a lot to reach to make me love it as much as those two.

Since it's a much longer show then the jp version was they have more time for all the drama and angst, just like in the tw version.
I love the little story between makinos friend, and well, the pottery-guy. In the tw version there's also more about that.

I need to make time to download and watch this soon. When I've catched up on Voice I'll be all over this drama. ^^

Uta no Oniisan is really lovely! <333 Is there anywhere you can actually watch it on streaming nowadays? I find it so difficult to find things on streaming now, since must groups don't want to have them up on those sights anymore.

actually i'm a fan (rather crazy) of Shinhwa (a kpop boyband) even B4 i fall in love with K8 and KAT-TUN. However i doubt about what ur friends say :D so i think we share the same opinion ^^

i watch BOF (HYD Kversion) just because i'm curious bout the fact that Shinhwa is the name of the group (in Jversion is Domyouji) but i stop at ep 4. It's boring, ridiculous, far away from the manga or HYD. If it's just a normal Korean drama, maybe i can accept it (but not my type of drama) but it's a adaption of HYD, it's really a shame to HYD. The acting, the scription, totally a mess. And JiHoon (Rui Korean?), no way can be compared with Rui of Shun.

Oh. The opinions on BOF really differs so much. I will give it a chance and see what I think. Just one episode is not enough you know? And I get hooked quite easily so I'm guessing I will end up watching all of it. ^^
